How to get there?
There are several transportation alternatives to go from Lisbon to the conference at FCT NOVA Campus, using the various types of public transport, namely combining the metro with the train, bus and boat.
The transportation title can be used in the several types of transportation. The title can be bought or recharged in the various machines that are in the respective stations. Keep the receipt as it might be requested inside the transports.
Whenever you get on a bus or subway, validate your ticket on the respective reader. Before boarding a train or Fertagus, validate the ticket in the reader existing in the station (before boarding the train).
From Lisbon to Conference
We recommed to firstly buy a rechargable ticket (and keep the receipt). Before boarding the train, validate your ticket at one of the readers available. In Lisbon (at station Roma-Areeiro, Entrecampos, Sete Rios, or Campolide) take the Fertagus Train to “Pragal” station (exit at the first stop after crossing the bridge).
After getting off the Fertagus train, go down the stairs to the metro platform. Take Metro Transportes do Sul and validate your ticket in the reader inside the metro. Exit at the “Universidade” stop (the last one).From Conference to Welcome reception
We recommend to firstly buy a rechargable ticket (and keep the receipt). At FCT NOVA Campus, take the metro to “Cacilhas”.Exit at the last stop.
Return to Lisbon
Take the metro to Pragal. Then, take the fertagus train and exit at the station nearest to your accomodation (Roma-Areeiro, Entrecampos, Sete Rios, or Campolide).
Alternatively, take the boat to Lisbon. Then, take the metro to the station nearest to you accomodation.
From Conference to Dinner (Casa do Alentejo)
We recommend to firstly buy a rechargable ticket (and keep the receipt). At FCT NOVA Campus, take the metro and exit at the Pragal Station. Go down the stairs and then go up to the train platform.Take the Fertagus train. Exit at Sete Rios station.
Take the metro towards Restauradores.
